This policy relates information gathered from you whilst on our website or other information you provide when communicating with us through other means including when making a purchase outside of the website.

When you place an order through our website, we collect personal information including but not necessarily limited to your name, address, email address and phone number.

When you place an order through another method, we may collect personal information including your name, address, email address, phone number and social media details depending on what information You provide Us with to process your order.

When you contact us via any means to make enquiries or other communication, we collect any information You provide Us with when you make these communications.


What we don’t collect?

We do not collect your card information – these are processed by the relevant card payment providers we use.

We do not collect any special category data.


How do we use personal information?

We use the data we collect on You to enable us to process your order, to respond to any enquiries You have made with us, for business information and to enable us to meet legal obligations.


What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

Under GDPR there are six legal grounds for processing your personal data:

We will share your data with third party shipping providers to enable delivery of your order or postal communications. We will do this securely and will only use reputable shipping companies.

For card payments, some of your personal data will be transferred to our card payment providers to enable the card transactions to be processed.

We use a third-party cookie manager and some of your personal data may be transferred to them to process your cookie choices (see Cookie’s below). They may record your consent.


Where do we store and process personal data?

We store and process personal data in the UK. Any information provided from outside of the UK will be transferred to the UK.

Transmission of data by any means cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, and any transmissions are carried out at Your own risk.

From when we receive your data, we take precautions to secure your data, however, cannot guarantee it’s security.

We may also store and process your data on Googledrive which is a GDPR compliant cloud storage system. Googledrive may store this data or copies of this data outside of the UK and or the EU.

Processing an order through our website will result in data being initially processed by the website host before being transferred to us. Our current website host is Fasthosts Ltd.


How do we secure personal data?

We secure your data to protect against accidental loss, unauthorised access, use, destruction or transfer.

We do this be storing your data securely and limiting access.


How long do we keep your personal data for?

We keep your data for as long as we are legally required to (for instance, we will keep a record of orders for as long as we need to to meet accounting requirements).

We may keep records of emails, phone calls, postal communications and so on indefinitely, however if there is no specific reason to keep these, they will be deleted or securely disposed of when they are no longer relevant or useful. Processing any deletion/disposal may be instant or take up to 12 months.


Your rights in relation to personal data

Under GDPR You have various rights, including:

  • To request a copy of all information held on you
  • To request correction of such information
  • To request deletion of any personal information (We will not be able to delete anything We are legally required to keep)
  • To request restriction of processing
  • To lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office

In case of a complaint, we would appreciate it if you could contact us in the first instance and contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk/) if we do not deal with the complaint to Your satisfaction.

We believe that our products speak for themselves. If you like them, we hope you will come back for more and tell others. Your privacy is important to us so we don’t use any unnecessary Cookies.

We only use Cookies to allow our website to function, including creation and continuity of a shopping basket.

We do not utilise tracking Cookies and do not process or store data from third party cookies (ie those from websites you visit before, during or after your time on our website.

Should our (third-party) website builder add unnecessary Cookie(s), we take steps to remove/deactivate the Cookie(s) and we will not process or use any data from this except to delete it securely should it come into our possession and we are aware of it.
